RONIN: Slashdown collects only the information needed to operate the game features currently available on roninslashdown.com.
RONIN ACCOUNT AND AUTHENTICATION
A RONIN account is required to enter the game. Authentication is provided through Firebase Authentication using email/password or Google sign-in. Firebase may process your email address, account identifier, display name, authentication provider, and related security/session information needed to sign you in and keep your account secure.
GAME PROGRESS AND CLOUD DATA
RONIN: Slashdown stores account-linked gameplay data in Firebase, including your Ronin handle, unlocked and completed trials, stars, scores, campaign status, Spirit/lives, Boost Arsenal inventory, achievements, selected settings, and timestamps used to operate these features. Your browser may also retain a local cache so the interface can operate efficiently, but signed-in cloud progress is the authoritative account record.
PROFILE AND AVATAR DATA
If you choose to upload a profile image, the image is stored with your RONIN account. Your public Ronin handle and profile image may be shown in account and leaderboard interfaces. Do not use sensitive personal information as your public handle.
GLOBAL LEADERBOARD DATA
Eligible trial results may submit your account identifier, public Ronin handle, trial number, score, star rating, run metadata, and completion time for ranking, validation, and abuse prevention. Developer and otherwise unranked runs are excluded from competitive submission.
CONTACT MESSAGES
The Contact page sends the name, email address, inquiry category, and message you choose to submit. These records are used for support, issue investigation, partnerships, security, and operational follow-up.
WALLETS AND DIGITAL ASSETS
RONIN: Slashdown does not require a cryptocurrency wallet, token holding, wallet signature, or token purchase to play. An optional development-support wallet may be published on the Support page. Using it is voluntary and is not connected to gameplay progression, rankings, rewards, account access, or leaderboard eligibility. RONIN: Slashdown will never request a wallet seed phrase or private key.
COOKIES, STORAGE, AND TRACKING
The current game uses browser storage and Firebase services needed for authentication, cloud progress, account features, security, and leaderboard operation. RONIN: Slashdown does not require third-party behavioral advertising to operate.
DATA SECURITY AND RETENTION
Reasonable technical safeguards are used to protect game-service and contact data. Leaderboard records may be retained to preserve rankings and detect abuse. Contact records may be retained while needed for support, security, legal, and operational purposes. Players may request deletion of their RONIN account and associated account-linked data through available account controls or by contacting support, subject to records that may need to be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal, or legitimate operational purposes.
CHILDREN
RONIN: Slashdown is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected without appropriate authorization, we may take steps to delete it. Children under 13 should not create an account or submit personal information through the Contact form.

These Terms govern your use of RONIN: Slashdown and roninslashdown.com. By playing or using online features, you agree to use the service lawfully and fairly.
ENTERTAINMENT GAME
RONIN: Slashdown is a points-based entertainment game. War Score, stars, rankings, trial completion, achievements, handles, and progression have no guaranteed cash value and are not promises of tokens, airdrops, investment returns, or financial rewards.
FAIR PLAY
You may not manipulate scores, automate submissions, exploit bugs to create false records, interfere with game services, impersonate another player, or bypass security controls. Fraudulent or technically impossible leaderboard entries may be removed.
PUBLIC HANDLES AND LEADERBOARDS
Your Ronin handle may appear publicly with score and trial progress. Choose a handle you are comfortable displaying publicly and do not include sensitive personal information.
OPTIONAL SUPPORT AND DIGITAL ASSETS
Playing RONIN: Slashdown does not require a purchase, donation, token holding, or wallet connection. Donations to support development are completely optional. The only official development-support wallet is the address published at roninslashdown.com/support. No official burn wallet is currently published. Never provide a wallet seed phrase or private key.
GAME AVAILABILITY
Levels, balance, audio, artwork, story content, leaderboards, and online services may be updated to improve the game, protect fair play, repair bugs, or maintain the service.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
RONIN: Slashdown branding, game artwork, characters, interface designs, original audio, story material, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the game or its assets to players.
SERVICE LIMITATIONS
The game is provided for entertainment on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, RONIN: Slashdown is not responsible for indirect losses caused by device failure, browser-storage deletion, network interruption, unavailable third-party services, or unauthorized activity outside the official site.

THE GAME
WHAT IS RONIN: SLASHDOWN?
RONIN: Slashdown is a free-to-play cyber-samurai match-3 battle game built around strategy, progression, special attacks, War Score and competitive leaderboard play.
Players advance through a 20-trial campaign across four acts while mastering increasingly challenging boards, obstacles and objectives.
IS RONIN: SLASHDOWN FREE TO PLAY?
Yes. No purchase, donation, token holding or cryptocurrency wallet connection is required to create an account, enter the Warpath, complete trials, earn stars, build War Score or appear on eligible leaderboards.
HOW DO I START PLAYING?
Create a RONIN account using email/password or Google sign-in. Once signed in, enter the War Map, choose an unlocked trial and begin battle.
Your account keeps track of supported campaign progress, completed trials, stars, War Score, Spirit, Boost Arsenal, achievements and settings.
HOW DO I PLAY?
Swap two adjacent icons to create a match of three or more identical symbols. Successful matches clear pieces and advance the current trial objective.
You can play by tapping two adjacent tiles or swiping a tile toward an adjacent position.
WHAT IS THE OBJECTIVE?
Every trial has its own mission. Depending on the battle, you may need to:
- Reach a target War Score
- Destroy Cursed Seals
- Break Chains
- Clear specific targets
- Complete the mission within a limited number of moves
Complete the objective before your moves run out to conquer the trial.
COMBAT & SPECIAL ATTACKS
WHAT SPECIAL ATTACKS CAN I CREATE?
Match 4 — Blade Slash: creates a powerful line-clearing attack.
Match 5 — Red Moon Orb: creates one of the strongest board-clearing weapons.
T- or L-shaped Match — Ember Bomb: creates an explosive area attack.
Special + Special: combining special pieces can trigger devastating board-wide effects.
WHAT ARE CHAINS?
Chains lock a tile in place. A chained tile cannot be manually moved until its Chain is broken.
Attack or clear the chained position through surrounding matches, special attacks or appropriate Boosts.
WHAT ARE CURSED SEALS?
Cursed Seals are special battlefield obstacles that appear in certain trials. Some missions require you to destroy a specific number of Cursed Seals before completing the battle.
WAR SCORE, STARS & RANKINGS
WHAT IS WAR SCORE?
War Score represents your performance during battle. Strong combinations, cascades, special attacks, efficient moves and successful trial completion can contribute to your score.
Eligible scores may appear on the RONIN leaderboard.
WHAT ARE STARS?
Trials can award up to three stars based on your performance. Stars reflect mastery of completed battles and contribute to overall campaign progression.
WHAT IS THE GLOBAL LEADERBOARD?
The leaderboard lets eligible players compare performance against other Ronin. Rankings may include your public Ronin handle, War Score, completed trials and other competitive statistics.
Only eligible ranked runs are submitted.
BOOST ARSENAL & SPIRIT
WHAT IS THE BOOST ARSENAL?
Boosts are tactical abilities that can help during difficult battles:
- Katana Slash — targeted row strike
- Ember Bomb — explosive area attack
- Red Moon Orb — powerful board attack
- Chain Breaker — destroys sealed obstacles
- Last Stand — grants additional moves
Your Boost inventory carries across trials and can be earned through gameplay.
DO BOOSTS AFFECT LEADERBOARD SCORES?
Boosted runs can advance your campaign, but boosted runs are excluded from normal ranked-score submission. This helps preserve fair competitive leaderboard play.
WHAT ARE SPIRIT LIVES?
Spirit represents your available battle lives. Players can hold up to four Spirit lives.
Failing a trial consumes one Spirit. Spirit regenerates automatically over time so players can return to battle without purchasing lives.
HOW FAST DOES SPIRIT RECHARGE?
One Spirit life regenerates approximately every 30 minutes, allowing a completely depleted Spirit meter to naturally return to full over time.
DOES WINNING A TRIAL COST A LIFE?
Spirit is primarily consumed when a battle is failed. Successful completion is designed to reward progression rather than consume a life.
THE WARPATH
HOW MANY TRIALS ARE THERE?
Season I contains 20 trials across four acts:
- Act I — Crimson Village
- Act II — Shadow Forest
- Act III — Burning Citadel
- Act IV — Moon Temple
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I COMPLETE ALL 20 TRIALS?
Completing all 20 trials represents conquest of the Season I Warpath.
Additional completion recognition, achievements, trophies, events, seasons or future rewards may be introduced as RONIN: Slashdown evolves. Future features are not considered final until officially announced and released.
FRIENDS & MULTIPLAYER
CAN I PLAY WITH FRIENDS?
RONIN: Slashdown is currently a solo gameplay experience.
Friends can create individual accounts, play the same trials, compare scores and compete for leaderboard position.
DOES RONIN: SLASHDOWN HAVE MULTIPLAYER?
Not yet. Real-time multiplayer, private groups, direct challenges, clans, cooperative gameplay, tournaments and similar social systems are possible areas for future development, but are not currently available.
CAN PLAYERS TALK TO EACH OTHER IN THE GAME?
RONIN: Slashdown does not currently include in-game voice chat or player-to-player messaging.
Any future communication features would need to be designed with privacy, moderation and player safety in mind.
DEVICES & ACCOUNTS
CAN I PLAY ON MOBILE?
Yes. RONIN: Slashdown is designed for desktop, tablet and mobile browsers, with touch controls optimized for phones and tablets.
DO I NEED TO DOWNLOAD AN APP?
No. RONIN: Slashdown can be played directly at RoninSlashDown.com. Supported devices may also allow the site to be installed as a web app.
DOES MY PROGRESS SAVE?
Yes. Signed-in campaign progress is stored with your RONIN account using cloud services, including supported trials, scores, stars, Spirit, Boost inventory, achievements, settings and progression data.
CAN I CHANGE DEVICES?
Yes. Because signed-in progress is connected to your RONIN account, you can sign in on another supported device and continue from your cloud progress.
CAN I UPLOAD A PROFILE IMAGE?
Yes. Players can customize supported profile information including a public Ronin handle and profile image. These may appear in leaderboard and account interfaces.
CAN I DELETE MY ACCOUNT?
Yes. Account deletion is supported through available RONIN account controls. Associated account-linked data is removed subject to records that may need to be retained for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, legal or operational purposes.
PLAYER SAFETY
CAN CHILDREN PLAY RONIN: SLASHDOWN?
RONIN: Slashdown is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13. Children under 13 should not create accounts or submit personal information.
